Welcome!
I am a evolutionary anthropologist who focuses on the interaction between ecology, behavior, and genetics. My current research targets non-human primates but I have previously worked with a wide range of birds and mammals. By using a combination of molecular genetic and field based data collection methods and analysis techniques, I investigate the evolution of dispersal and mating patterns. I am particularly interested in how these patterns affect social and genetic structure, and ultimately fitness and population viability. This research can inform management decisions and improve the conservation outlooks for primates.
